I missed Monday! But I'm apparantly flying down to California this weekend so I had to do a buncha stuff. I have no idea why I'm flying to California, but I'm going with Mr. Deakin.

Yaaaaaay. Can you tell how enthusiastic I am? Yaaaaay.

Mr. Deakin is the drama teacher. I have no idea why I'm going to Cali with him, other than I have him for like two classes because he also teaches 18th century lit or something? I dunno, man. I really don't actually wanna go. Why not, Bandie? Well, Bandie, it's because he's possibly the most boring person in the world. Even though like five of you are going, he's still going to insist on talking to you about being in his production of Midsummer Night's Dream or some crap.

So Bandie's been getting stuff ready for the weekend. Making sure everything's in order...ducks in a row...Laundry done. I'm supposed to bring at least my school uniform JUST IN CASE I gotta pull some crazy superhero stunts. Gotta admit, I wouldn't mind going home and just...Telling the crew what's up, y'know? Heading back to my old school, seeing my old classmates, being openly a mutant...That sorta thing.

I wonder if I'm the only one from that area? I'm thinking I might be. Oh, crap, totally forgot. So yeah got a couple guesses about my class and...Okay I had one. And it was 40% right. So...Here's the breakdown.

Metamorph: Duh. I'm a super awesome super stretchy rubberband girl.
Defiant: Because conservation of mass is for chumps.
Paragon: Flexibility is a human trait I have in abundance!
Misfit: If I'm not wearing something that can keep up, my super powers make me super nekked.
Annnd Energist, because I build up bounce energy or whatever, but it's such a minor thing that it's not really even included outside of paperwork.

So getting into the proper order that makes me a...Defiant Paragon Metamorph Misfit. I have it on paper that I am officially a defiant misfit. And nobody was surprised by that at all.

So, we use those classes to move more towards people who have similar experiences. You'd think that Paragons are like...Oh no! I'm super strong! But I've seen Mandy and that crap can be frustrating. Did you ever see Justice League? The cartoon, I mean, and at the end, Superman talks about how happy he is to fight the bad guy because he feels like he lives in a world of cardboard? It's pretty boss you should totally watch it if you haven't. But yeah that's how stuff is like for Paragons. You start to lose your frame of reference. Mandy doesn't realize how heavy stuff is for other people because it's all so easy for her. Or Hotstreak gets super annoyed when people are late because they can't just speed themselves up. Who'd have thought that a super speeder is also super punctual?

So today's student highlight is Vince! Vince is a pretty cool guy. Watches a lot of movies and stuff so he's easy to talk to, but it's also part of his power. He's got what they're calling photo-regurgitation. He can perfectly recreate anything he's experienced. He does impressions perfectally and can sketch famous art in pen. I guess it's not a super useful power but it's pretty neat! Should I talk about classification in these? Does anyone care?

He's a Weird. Also, weird. Like he himself is weird. But it's a good weird.

Like a Bandie weird.
technically Thursday, but this is Wednesday's entry. Why do I keep ending up doing these so late at night? Bandie's so tired. Goonna go slip into bed before I lose track of reality more.

So Vince is "Bandie weird", huh? Sounds...dangerous. But with how tuned into certain aspects of pop culture you are, like movies, comics, etc, he does seem like he'd make a good conversation partner and hangout friend for you.

So paragons lose their frame of reference. Any particular way that affects you? Or are we saving that for a future diary?
